Most dating websites will let you
fill out a basic profile, set up parameters for what you are
looking for, and let you browse the results, then allowing you
to communicate with other members once you've signed up for either
a very short trial period or paid for a membership. eHarmony
is unique in that the first thing they have you do is fill out
an over 500 item questionaire to establish 29 points of personality
used to match compatible singles.
The questionaire is free, and
once you finish the questionaire, you will receive the results,
which gives some information about yourself and types of potential
matches.
You will receive
potential selected matches in your "My Matches" page.
You then have the option of contacting these suggested matches.
Once you decide to contact someone, however, you must become
a paying member. eHarmony does offer a full refund within 7 days
of beginning your membership.
It is recommended that you go to
eHarmony.com and check out their faq page, as this will give you
some insight as to how their service works.
